Sales & Marketing Technology Manager

As the Sales & Marketing Technology Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the systems and processes supporting Maravai LifeSciences’ sales and marketing teams are optimized to support their objectives. This role will support the configuration, integration, training and adoption of our customer relationship management platform (Salesforce), as well as our marketing automation platform (Pardot). This in-house expert will ensure the systems meet the needs of all parties, monitoring day-to-day operations, managing issue resolution, and driving overall system management.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary administrator; overseeing the development, implementation, integration and the ongoing management of the martech stack, including SFDC, Pardot, Google Analytics, Zapier, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio and Hootsuite.

  • Manage overlay of sales, service and marketing processes on Salesforce and Pardot.

  • Train and support sales, service and marketing staff to ensure that all systems in place are being fully leveraged and optimized across programs and applications.

  • Develop and maintain a martech stack roadmap.

  • Negotiate business terms for purchasing martech products.

  • Proactively identify and resolve areas of friction impacting operations or usability.

  • Be the guardian of the marketing database, improve data quality, hygiene, standardization and ensure strict adherence to data privacy and compliance regulations.

  • Select, lead and manage martech development efforts and relationships with external vendors.

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in overall marketing operations, campaign, and lead management.

  • Define and deliver core business metrics, dashboards, reporting and analytics on demand gen activities and funnel performance across all business lines.

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Communications; Master's or equivalent a plus.

  • 4+ years of marketing operations professional experience.

  • Extensive experience managing a SFDC-based martech stack, including integrations.

  • SFDC certified administrator is preferred.

  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with marketing automation and demand generation (Pardot certification is a plus).

  • Experience collaborating with IT organizations.

  • Proficiency in HTML, R and SQL is a plus.

  • Ability to translate strategic plans and high-level processes into detailed technical requirements.

  • Experience in making data-driven decisions and driving business transformation initiatives.

  • Growth mindset with inherent curiosity and personal drive; ability to navigate ambiguity and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
